There is a generalized age limit on the box of most of the new Episode 7 – The Force Awakens LEGO sets that they are for ages 8-14; while the lower age limit is hard to dispute with the amount of small pieces involved and the subject matter, there has to be some argument over the upper limit with older fans. The transporter is a beast of a vehicle, built like a rather formidable tank and measuring 5x12x5 inches, and is home to Captain Phasma and a unit of Stormtroopers who are ready to take on the resistance with their tough weaponry. As with many Star Wars 7 LEGO toys, it is all about the battle of good versus evil and once players turn the gears to lower the ramp and set the troops lose, they can have a good fight between the mini figure Stormtroopers and Flametroopers and the two resistance soldiers. In addition to this, there are hatches for the characters, a way of lifting off the top to see inside and, perhaps the coolest feature of all, transparent wheels to give the impression that the transporter is hovering over the ground. There is a lot of great attention to detail here, from the wheels to the different blasters for the action figures to hold, and plenty to excite fans of all ages.
