For kids growing up watching the original Star Wars trilogy there was one hero that they wanted to emulate in the playground – Luke Skywalker. There are many versions of the character that could potentially be created out of bricks but the LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker 75110 is designed to leap straight out of the iconic scenes in the finale of Episode 6. Luke is a long way on his journey to becoming a grown-up Jedi ready to take control of the force, and his destiny, and this armored version is poised to fight Darth Vader and finally defeat the Empire once and for all. In order to do this he needs a great costume and enough weapons to get the job done. Thankfully this Luke model is equipped with a buildable green lightsaber, a blaster pistol an extra lightsaber handle and his holster and a pair of handcuffs, in case he is able to capture his enemies alive.
Luke Skywalker Lego Model
LEGO models of Star Wars characters have a tendency to look a little oddly formed because they are constructed from bricks but the molding of this figure means that he is both interesting to look at and posable enough that he can stand in plenty of fighting stances and hold his own in a fight scene. This great look is enhanced by the finely detailed graphics on the costume, which offers a clean, almost cartoon-like feel, as well as the work that has gone into the proportions of the figure – including the fake right hand – and the design of the face. There is no doubt that this Luke Skywalker – and Mark Hamill for that matter – and this means that not only will this figure look completely realistic as kids are playing with it in battle, it will look great as a collectors piece on the shelf.
