A large number of the LEGO Disney sets that have been created so far revolve around the princesses and their castles. They provide the chance for young fans to role play as the these female characters and create impressive scenes from their favorite movie. However, there are some sets that go in a different direction and follow the characters and tales of the Whisker Haven Tales series. The star of this new set is Petite, the pony that belongs to Belle from Beauty and the Beast. As a royal pony, it is only right that Petite has the finest of stables to call home and plenty of opportunities to be pampered. The set includes a relaxation area, beauty tower – where she can be preened and groomed to look her best – and even a reading tower. Accessory elements for these areas include a book and lamp for the reading area and a shampoo bottle, bow and tiara for the beauty tower.
The other aspect to this set is the story element. Not only is Petite being pampered and looked after in this beauty area, she is being prepped for a big show. She has been invited to take part in a big show jumping trial and needs to look her best. The other element of this build is the podium and show jump arena where she can show off her skills. If she can clear the fences with style and prove herself as more than just a Princess’s pony, she may be able to win the gold trophy.
