For many fans of Frozen, it was always Anna, not Elsa, that was the true heroine of the story. One of the key parts of the movie was when she decided to ride out into the growing winter storm to look for her sister. The LEGO Disney Princess Anna’s Snow Adventure 41147 building set captures this brilliantly. The figures, builds, accessories and overall look combine to help fans recreate scenes and enjoy a different type of set to the palaces.

Here Anna is heading out to the mountain on her trusted horse. The horse is a pretty white mini figure model with grey mane and purple saddle and Anna is depicted in the outfit she wore for her sister’s coronation. This is a great example of the attention to detail in this set that really sets the scene. She has her pretty green dress and cape and her hair is done up. As she continue on her journey, she finds the shelter and horse feeding station where she can stop and rest and look after her horse before continuing on her journey to find Elsa.

These two builds may be small, but they contain everything that players need to create the perfect shelter and rest stop for these characters. The feeding station for the horse has a roof and hay bales. The sleeping shelter has a small bed where Anna can rest for the night, two lanterns on the outside and an opening roof for easy access. Two other important elements here are the campfire, where Anna can melt the bar of chocolate for a warm, nourishing drink, and the map that points the way to the safest route up the mountain. There really does seem to be everything that the duo might need and each element has a beautiful design that fit in well with the Frozen theme.

This simple scene adds depth to a growing Frozen collection with some great features for creative play.

There is no getting away from the fact that this 2017 set was designed to accompany other sets in the theme. There is enough within the LEGO Disney Princess Anna’s Snow Adventure 41147 set for a stand-alone adventure, but it really does work alongside the castle and Ice Palace to add depth to the world and extend the adventure. There is a lot here for Frozen fans to enjoy and it is sure to be used again and again.
