The most highly anticipated 2016 LEGO set in the Captain America range was probably the Airport set. With this in mind, the LEGO 76067 Marvel Superheroes Tanker Truck Takedown Set makes a pretty desirable companion piece. This building kit expands upon the airport battle with an exploding Roxxon tanker truck. The flame elements and exploding barrels – triggered by hitting, or flying into the windsock – add a new element of danger as the two sides fight it out. Captain America has two choices in this set – either stay and fight for the cause or flee on the motorbike. Cap is well armed with his trademark shield, and he has Hawkeye by his side with his bow and arrow, but he is up against Vision and Spider-Man. Every great action movie includes a great chase scene and with the LEGO Super Heroes Black Panther Pursuit building set, fans of the Captain America series can act out one of the best chase scenes from the 3rd movie coming out in 2016. At first it seems as though all the power lies with the Black Panther. Winter Soldier can try and ride away as fast as he can on his little red motorcycle, weaving in between any obstacles builders create, but the bike isn’t much of a match for the large Black Panther Jet.

Things don’t always go smoothly for Captain America and, whether he likes it or not, he may need to rely on Iron Man after all. In the LEGO Iron Skull Sub Attack set, players get to play out an underwater Civil War adventure and the set is made even more unique because it involves a Scuba version of Captain America and Iron Man.
Both Avengers have thrusters and the Captain still has his classic shield. Iron Skull has captured Captain American and locked him inside a red, translucent cage. To make matters worse, that cage is chained to Iron Skull’s sub. It is up to Iron Man to swim after him but he has company. A Hydra diver is close behind on an underwater jet, preparing to aim his harpoon. As the name suggests, however, there are a few hazards that they will have to contend with, such as toxic elements, falling cases and the stud shooters. Luckily Falcon is a skilled flyer, with the added benefit of guns and a Redwing drone, while Black Widow has her motorcycle and batons.

Of all of the new LEGO sets for Captain America 3 releasing in 2016, the LEGO Super Heroes Super Hero Airport Battle possibly has the greatest appeal for fans because of the range of elements that can be built and the characters included. Players can take their time crafting the airport – which includes a control tower, office and exploding wall function – as well an iconic Quinjet with foldout wings, cockpit, stud shooter and a rope for characters to cling to.
The reason for the exploding wall is simple: a big fight is about to break out to add some drama to this Civil War scene. Players can build a large Giant Man figure to fight Iron Man and War Machine while the other characters – Captain America, Scarlet Witch and Agent 13 – help Winter Soldier to the Quinjet.
