Winnie the Pooh is a series underrepresented in LEGO form. The characters are so popular and timeless that you would expect to see more of these classic Lego sets around. There is no complex theme or story here, which makes this quite a relaxing and mindful set for adults as much as younger builders. The brick-built creation centers around the big oak tree and Pooh’s house underneath. There is also a little brick-build sign for the woods so that visitors don’t lose their way. That house opens up to reveal the interior where you can add furnishings to make him feel more at home. The beautiful leafy tree is home to some beehives with little bees buzzing around them. Naturally, Pooh is interested in floating up there with his little red balloon to see if he can get some more honey for his honeypot.
Pooh isn’t alone in the woods. Piglet, Tigger, Eeyore, and Rabbit are all around and ready to come and visit. They each come with little accessories to enhance the stories further. They could help Pooh get the honey, hinder his process, or just gather in his home to listen to tales from the storybook. The cosy armchair is perfect for Pooh to sit and read to his friend, or simply for falling asleep after a good meal of honey. This set isn’t the most complicated around with a little more than 1000 pieces and two main elements, but there is still the challenge of assembling all the leaves and trunk elements to create the grand oak tree and make it tall enough for Pooh to float up into.
