With excitement brewing over the new live action version of Beauty and the Beast, it is no surprise that many of us are becoming nostalgic for the Disney cartoon. The LEGO Disney Princess 41067 Belle’s Enchanted Castle is a great way to dive back into that world with a detailed build and all our favorite characters.
The design of this build is pretty striking and it is immediately distinct from other castles in the Disney Princess LEGO range. This comes with the details in the architecture, the grand gates and the stain glass windows. This two storey build has plenty of rooms to create, which adds to the building challenge, and this also means plenty of room for creative play. There is a kitchen, dining room, bedroom, balcony area and that all important ballroom. It is the ballroom that fans probably think of first when thinking about this castle set-up. This is where Belle and the Beast dance together and fall in love, finally breaking the spell, and the revolving floor is a nice touch. All of your child’s favorite characters are here. In addition to the two mini-doll figures of Belle and the Beast there are all the supportive characters that add to the storylines. This means players get figures of Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, Chip and Babette. The designs are all true to the film, which is pretty impressive in LEGO form, and there is also a trolley that players can use to wheel Mrs Potts and Chip around. Another fun feature with the characters in this set is the ability to transform the Beast into the Prince, so kids can play through to the happy ending.
As you would expect from this Enchanted Castle, there are lots of magical elements for players to enjoy as they explore the rooms and re-enact the story, and not just the talking crockery. The open balcony contains a telescope and the rose in its glass case. Also, there is a special book to be found in the library area and a magic mirror.
