One of the joys of the Batman franchise is that we have an iconic character with many different forms and tones. Many fans will be drawn to the darker side of the Dark Knight right now, especially with all the hype for the Justice League movie series and new Justice League LEGO Sets. Others will much prefer the lighter, comic book side of Batman and the villains of Gotham. A lot of keen fans would agree that Joker often works best in animated form, where the colors and eccentricities of his schemes shine through. This is especially true when he gets to team up with Harley Quinn. The DC Comics Super Heroes The Joker Manor LEGO Set 70922 is one of the biggest Lego sets that is the ideal set for this wackier approach to game play.

This new 2017 version of the Manor is an impressive build that really does offer a whole new lease of life to the classic Wayne Manor building.
There are more than 3435 pieces in this LEGO Superheroes kit for all the different exterior and interior elements, which should keep players busy for a while. This includes the sign, roller-coaster and buildable Joker head for the outside. It all makes the Manor look like a curious fun-house. Inside there is a re-imagined kitchen area, music studio, cinema and swimming pool. It looks like Harley Quinn hoped for a romantic evening with the DVD and lobster, but Joker has other plans now that Batman and his friends want to crash the party.
There are 10 minifigures in total with this set. In addition to Joker, Harley and Batman, there is also Nightwing, Barbara Gordon and Alfred Pennyworth. A neat extra feature here is the use of the alternative costumes to create Disco versions of Batman, Batgirl, Robin and Joker. This means plenty of combinations for different fights. An added bonus is the inclusion of the Batarang and Harley’s iconic bat.
The attention to detail with the interior, such as the wacky mirrors and translucent elements, leads to a fun set that fans of all ages can enjoy.
The use of the traps and weapons, such as the buildable bombs, also mean that there are plenty of options for creative play. For example, a mini figure on the trapdoor of the large Joker head falls down a slide and out the mouth. It is also possible to ride the roller coaster. This new Batman LEGO Superheroes Set really is one that has to be seen to be believed.
