The designers of this advanced set have done a brilliant job recreating the design of this stadium from the outside. The brickwork around the outside is faithful to the ones of this iconic sporting arena and they have done their best to ensure that each exterior view evokes memories of match day. Much of this comes from the finer details, such as the glass bricks from the windows, the decals for the sponsorship posters and the all-important Manchester United sign at the top. There is also a small section of paving outside with room for the statutes of Sir Alex Ferguson, Matt Busby and the United Trinity.
Then there is the effort that has gone into the interior of the stadium. It wouldn’t be a sacred ground without the pitch and the stands from which to watch the game. You can take you time setting up the rows of seats right up to the top of the Sit Bobby Charlton stand. There is also the chance to add in the tunnel so that the players have somewhere to run out onto the pitch. This could be the most difficult aspect of them all. Again, the attention to detail here is impressive with the decals on the board around the pitch, the Man U logos by the tunnel and the different tones on the grass. Be aware that this is an Expert LEGO set for adults with a lot of work involved. The 3,898 piece design means that it is one of the hardest Lego builds and will take some patience and experience.
